I burn, I burn for you so naturally,
No second thought to my life's human worth.
For you are my true loving destiny,
You are the reason for my heart's rebirth.
But one kiss from your sweet passionate lips,
sets ablaze an ecstasy in my heart.
One caress from your magic fingertips,
Now my soul will never have to depart.
You have taught me just a taste is so true,
an embrace from you is what I truly need.
since knowing you my spirit is renewed,
With you in my life I will never bleed.
I have been writing poetry for 44 years. I began writing poetry when I was 15 years old and to this date I have written over 16,000 poems. I have had poems published in The San Fernando Journal, The Rag Mag, WYRD, The Cultural Reverence(e-magazine) and in Kiiroo(e-magazine), Mobius and the World Peace Anthology. “I burn, I burn for you so naturally” such a tempting line to read more and more of your lines. And I loved that repetition “I burn, I burn”, and then “heart’s rebirth” ❣️ beautiful. I loved the second stanza especially.
