“Don’t Touch The Produce”

Once upon a time
there was a man and a woman,
and, oh yes, an apple,
red delicious piece of fruit actually.

But in this case
as a temptation of man,
not just delicious, but deadly.

So crisp and inviting
to the curious sight and taste,
take an innocent bite,
what could it hurt, the snake said.

Instead of a worm in it,
there was a sin within the skin,
and the seed of true evil was born.

The man and woman
started the slow downward spiral
into hell's temptation,
all because they were both hungry.

Or because they were curious
as to the ways of their new world,
whichever believed with heart's desire.

Moral of the story . . .
don't listen to snakes bearing gifts
of fruit influence you,
they are sincerely up to no good.
