“Love’s Sacrifice”

Let the trumpets be sounded,
defend the castle walls,
with my valor you shall be astounded.
If our kingdom should fall
love shall still be ours.
This is not our last farewell
embracing in the embattled tower.
Our love withstands heaven or hell,
cast aside unpleasant memories,
let your mind be totally clear.
Our passion shall flow with ease,
when pure souls are near.

Seeing the passionate light
that is worth dying for,
pledging my life as a knight,
then charging the enemies at our door.
But I shall not die without
having a true meaning,
or knowing what love was all about.
Let our hearts always be gleaming,
for I do dream of things
that can surely come true,
your kiss the warmth it brings,
your eyes, mesmerizing sapphire blue.

Lately life has been as cold as ice,
while you are still loving and warm.
For your young love I would sacrifice
entering the eye of the storm,
which would tear me apart,
this passion is indeed worth it
Feelings come from within our hearts,
as we defend ladylove's spirit.
Putting it in an earthbound cage
is against the laws of the land,
trying to calm our enemies furious rage
may lead us to our. . . . last stand.
