after Autumn’s passes away,
the world is blanketed
in a pristine death of sorts.
Buried beneath this white coffin
lies the world’s chance for survival,
a cycle repeated
since time began at God’s will.
a renewal of nature’s faith,
will to live an eternal prophecy,
a repeated cycle
of life’s grand design of perseverance.
Where does it all end,
as timeless as the celestial universe,
a rogue supernova
obliterating time and space,
or when God
decides it’s time for the game to end.
for humanity’s mysterious puzzle,
to start anew
with a second big bang theory,
or a second coming
of Eden’s apple biting debacle.
please don’t be that cruel,
let us all fade
into a brilliant mosaic sunset,
with pleasant memories
of what it was like to be human.
