Looking the front window
I see the rain,
falling from a pregnant sky,
washing away memories of you,
as it beats, beats
on my lonely window pain.
The droplets scatter hurriedly
like your love did,
away from my thunderous soul.
The damp earth saturated
by the deluge,
is how our kisses used to be.
Flowing rain in a thunderstorm,
passionate and wild
to the thunder and lightning rhythm.
An ominous delicate intricacy
a cleansing
of the human soul bathed.
A rain when it pours mentality
washing away sins
committed in the name of love,
a certain rhythmic beat
on this gray day,
just wishing for a silver lining.
