Washing over gently
like a rain shower cleansing us.
Do you feel the savior from the deep
as it bathes our hearts,
from the sins of human pain.
Drenched in the cool azure,
unrelenting storms
eroding away the shores,
we’ve walked along for centuries,
old souls journeying.
A reservoir of our spirit
surrounded by aqua blue emotion.
Cooling our quiet desperation,
until we fear there’s no
retreating from the emotional river.
Sapphire glimmer upon the ocean
as tears disappear,
into vast indigo dreams.
Taste the water from my cool skin
as we swim in an emotional journey.
