“Upon The Waters”

Our love is like an ocean,
vast and wide in azure waters of passion,
let it wash over us.

Like the waves thundering ashore,
constant is the tide of our in sync heartbeat,
bathing us in eloquent hunger.

Taste of the salt upon my flesh,
devour me with the wetness of your lips,
savor the carnal flavor.

Powerful as the sapphire waves
in my romantic soul never to be denied,
as I drown forevermore.

I have been writing poetry for 44 years. I began writing poetry when I was 15 years old and to this date I have written over 16,000 poems.
